Annette Taasti from Hougaard Rådgivning is the new social worker at UFDS, where she will help secure even better counseling and procedure to the members that get an injury. Annette Taasti has previously been HR consultant and partner at Lemvig/Müller, where she has worked with the well-being of the employees for the past 12 years.
”I worked with the requirements of the company and the resources of the people working there, and with the challenge of getting the two to correspond. Essentially, it is about people and getting them to develop to their full potential. It is the same challenge when people get an injury and need help from UFDS,” says Annette Taasti, who is 54 years old and has worked as a social worker since 2004.
She is looking forward to the tasks ahead at UFDS, and she is fully aware of the special skills she can contribute with:
”I have a very good understanding of what it takes to go back to the labour market, because I have worked in a company for the last 12 years and know the requirements of the labour market. Additionally, I am used to working with many different types of people, with different challenges, and as a social worker it is also about the ability to listen and understand each individual. My first and foremost job is to contribute to creating coherence and value between the injured and his/her potential and the employment rules that applies to the situation.”
