The final date for filling out and sending the lists of sailing days in 2020 is getting nearer.
The lists for every policy have been sent to the members to be filled out, but it is also possible to send data to UFDS via the provided Excel file. It is important to include the whole 2020 in your list. The filled out lists are to be returned to UFDS on Wednesday the 20th of January at the latest.
The year 2020 has been characterized by a worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, which has also had major impact on the shipping industry. If employees have been sent home due to the corona virus, they do not have to be included in the list, because they are not covered by the insurance in the repatriation period.

Besides setting the final premium rates for the year 2020, the lists form the based for the premium on account for 2021.
”Therefore, we would also really like to know if the 2020-rates are to be regarded as a normal activity level or if there has been lower activity levels, e.g. due to COVID-19, or for other reasons, an extraordinary high level of activity in the past year. The same applies for the expectations for 2021, so we can correct for it in the premium on account-charge,” says the administrative officer at UFDS, Tina Christensen.
